Seems like residents have waited forEVER for Coon Rapids Boulevard to get developed - This is a great addition to Coon Rapids and I'm glad it made it by the Planning Commission and Council! For years the people with the power have wanted to keep Coon Rapids a Bedroom Community and have succeeded in letting Coon Rapids Boulevard deteriorate - let's hope they will get busy and develop the rest of the stretch all the way to Foley Blvd.

After years of preparation and land assembly and reduction of the blighted properties along Coon Rapids Blvd. it seems the city has positioned itself nicely for the turnaround in the economy. Hopefully this continues to the south and to the east so we can get the blvd. parcels back on the tax rolls!!

Now if we can just get a coffee shop on the south side of CR Blvd..great stop on the way to work..always amazed by the amount of commuter traffic that goes up and down Coon Rapids Blvd.
