Great show! I took the park and ride from a NE suburb at about 5:00pm, and it was a mess. The busses were all jammed up together and not coordinated very well. The lot attendants told me a bus would be there in about 10 minutes. I waited about 45 minutes for a bus, which was then standing room only. At one of the next stops, there were several busses sitting there almost empty. I realize it was Day One, but somebody needs to work on improving that service ASAP.
"new organist Mike Finnigan..." Ha; he is fondly remembered forever for his work on Jimi Hendrix's 1968 album, Electric Ladyland.
It was a great show!! and "romer" -you evidently weren't there and Mr. Bream doesn't know this but Bonnie did credit Mike Finnegan for playing with Jimi on the Electric on Electric Ladyland. fun seeing Willie Murphy onstage. Just wished the rain would've held off, I thinkl Bonnie wanted to play more but the weather didn't cooperate. Just wished the fans would've been more into it...everyone seemed to basically sit and listen... a few of us did stand and shake it a bit...but the rest of you..how can you just sit there??? Again...great show...just wished it would've lasted a lot longer...never get enough of Bonnie!!!!!
