I'm glad Matt thinks he's doing pretty good, ESPN magazine says he's Fit But Fat.

Zero mistakes? Too early to judge overall but how about taking injury prone Childs, who already blew out both knees?

"zero mistakes"?! Eight quarters into a preseason in which their 4th round injury prone pick went down with a career ending injury and you are sure Spielman made zero mistakes? I'm as big of a homer as there is but even I know that validation is a bit premature, like 3 to 4 years premature.

First off how can you make a statement like that: "General Manager Rick Spielman made zero mistakes in the last draft", at this point? Secondly how could you make that statement when two of the draft picks haven't even been able to get on the field because of injuries (Blanton and Childs)? Why does Sid always kiss up to team management?

I will always wonder how Henderson, who is at the University of Miami, will turn out? Now that he is not listed on the depth chart at the school, I bet that he wishes he was playing someplace else - maybe for the Gophers. I guess it is his loss..

I hd a few Hamms w/ Sven & Oly last night. They said da vikes always suprise you good & bad. Oly said w/ da soft schedule we should get out to a great 10 game start. Then 'don't cha know' everyone will get excited and think big things. Sven said that is when we lose the last 6 straight to miss da playoffs. By dat time dare is always ice fishing.

Sid is great at spending others people's money. When is enough ENOUGH?! Sid says; "thanks Gov for the new stadium, now lets spend another 60-80 million on a retractable roof". Sid is the same guy that pushed for the metrodome, stating that it would be the sports mecca for the next century. Yeah that lasted three decades. And we keep falling for it. It's no wonder people keep making fun of our state.

It appears Jeremias Pineda met with Vavra after the trade.

I guess Hendersons pre madonna attitude didn't work in Miami!! He is trouble until or if he ever wakes up.

OK, I KNOW someone is reading these because this comment of mine never makes the comment section so here goes.."to whom it may concern, PLEASE retire Sid. I love the old guy but he can hardly talk anymore. He seems to nod off in the middle of being interviewed. He hasn't written anything relevent since before Denny friggin Green!! I even remember when he was completely SCOOPED when Denny was hired. He was madder than a wet cat and it showed. Yes, he is the "dean" of TC sports writers. BFD. Yes, he was a big shot in the sports community....in the 60's! There must be some younger version waiting to take his mantle. Somebody, for the love of sports, stop the insanity!! Give him a rest.
