So when any individual across the state falls on hard times by act of god or failure to plan, we are all owed assistance from the legislature and govenor. Good to know. Not only do we not have the money for this, private subsidies are not within governments authority to tax the citizenry for. This is great if you're on the receiving end, if you've got enough to donate to others, but a large portion on Minnesotans are not in that group and the mandatory taxation to subsidize these individuals steals from them what they cannot give. If you want to make a permanent dependant class, this is one of the ways you start.

Has anyone really looked into the bill - there is a lot of money NOT going to Duluth. We can not afford to spend money on anything that is NOT related to the disaster relief.
