Klobuchar votes for Obamacare which contains the medical device tax, then she pretends she opposes the tax. It's also her party's governance that has presided over the radicalization of the FDA. I'm surprised she allowed her photo with this story.

Congress has been playing games with the FDA for decades. Prior to elections they will beat them up to get improved service. Afterwards the promised funding never appears. This instance is a little different, but some typical Kloubachar. She criticizes the FDA vs Euro agencies ( which have their own problems). Then she proposes to 'improve' things by allowing reviewers with more potential conflict of interest. You go girl

The FDA is a little slow??? Hmmm... I recently saw a list of products for diabetics. The first one on the list was submitted for FDA approval over three years ago. So, who has new products pending that have regulatory action pending, well.... everyone. Animas integrated pump/cgm CellNovo integrated pump/meter (cloud solution) Insulet integrated pump/cgm Medtronic integrated pump/cgm Roche integrated pump/meter/handheld (Solo) Sooil integrated pump/meter + software Ironically, while Americans wait, the rest of the world is using these devices - without problems!
