he could play if the team was "in a bind" ? This team is so bad and poorly managed there is no conceivable stuation they could be "in a bind". Wins and losses haven't mattered to Jim Pohlad since the taxpayers built him a stadium and continue to fill it, and his bank vault, full!

Excellent coaching advice from Gardy - "Ground balls are normally on the ground, if you're standing up it's a long way to go to get the ball." Must be the Twins way...

Gardy finally says something that makes total sense..."Ground balls are normally on the ground"..BRILLIANT!!

One of the bright spots of the whole season (Denueo) and Ron Gardenhire has to throw him under the bus In front of the press.Ron you do that in the managers office. The poor Major league baseball players had to stand out in the field to long. Wah! Wah! excuses excuses.

i need to know why my comment keeps getting deleted? all i said was most teams would have put denard on the dl after the third day of being hurt. what's up with the twins waiting so long to dl a guy? that seems to be within the scope of the posting rules here unless it's considered a violation to say bad things about the twins. and if that is the case most of the posts should be missing as well. come on strib stop being bullies!

Span pulling a Carlos Silva..tough pitching coming up = mysterious injury. Trade Span for anything you can get. The guy is a groundout dp machine and is lost on the bases. What's the ML record for getting picked off in one year?

This is what they always do with injured players, wait a week, play short handed and then decide to put them on the DL - Twins have no depth on this team, need someone who can pinch hit and not the ball out of the park! And I'm not talking about Casilla...

I would prefer Span not putting on a Twins uniform again.
