What kind of intelligent manager brings in a relief pitcher with an ERA of 6.28 in a tie game for the bottom of the ninth? Seems to me that this is an example where managing "by the book" doesn't work. Add Robertson to the list of players who don't belong on a major league roster. Add one more example of poor decision-making by the management staff.

He's been known to make dubious decisions such as bringing in the closer in a tie game, pinch running with 2 outs and a runner on first etc. Has anyone else grown tired of this stale routine yet?
