Did anyone else,have to read the first few paragraphs 4 or 5 times to figure out what was going on in this story? Editing, please!

I also thought of their daughter when the young man was killed. I think of their daughter whenever I hear the word "Craiglist". I thought of their daughter when my son wanted to buy a cellphone that was advertised on Craigslist. I made him meet the man in the middle of our local mall with 2 buddies of his. I am convinced that because of their daughter's murder that others have not been met with the same fate because they also thought of her and were much more cautious then they normally would have been. I believe their daughter did not die in vain.

I also thought of their daughter, Katherine Ann Olson, when Aung Thu BO was killed. I think of Katherine whenever I use Craig's list. It's just shocking for me, though I know of the evil motives out there coupled with a blatant disregard for others. I especially remember Philip Markoff an American medical student who was charged with the armed robbery and murder of Julissa Brisman in a Boston, Massachusetts, hotel on April 14, 2009, perhaps because of a gambling habit! Sheesh!

This whole ordeal is all very sad; I am a positive person but these types of stories just chip away at my faith in humankind. What is wrong with people? Katherine was dear to one of my close friends, and I know the anguish experienced. She is missed.
