I'm curious if this could be protected as a cultural heritage site. It is only one of six remaining drive-ins in MN and maybe our best example of classic 50's/60's drive-ins, having a beautiful neon marquee and a well-maintained concession area. What a horrible loss if this is replaced by a Wal-Mart.

I now live in the Houston, TX, area, and I just about fell over backwards a few years back when I was driving down a local country road and saw a new drive-in theatre being BUILT!!! After years of watching them being torn down back in Minnesota, it didn't even occur to me that there were still some being built!
