This is great for the fans, and certainly won't make it any easier for the Wilfs to extort seat license dollars at the new stadium. At least the Vikes won't have to go beg Target, the Star Tribune, or Kare 11 anymore to buy extra bulk seating to keep the game from getting blacked out. Go Packers!

The fact that our Vikings face blackout warnings every season proves that we could care less about these losers. And the fact that some used car salesman from Jersey extorted us is an even bigger crime that our players usually commit.

That "used car salesman" has kept one of the most successful businesses in this state. He also puts money into his product, that many take pride in, to be try and be as successful as possible. TV ratings prove the Vikings are very popular. Large companies often get money from local governments and some of those aren't putting back into the communities. While the bill is huge for the stadium, we went 50 years with this product with almost nothing put into it. Is your company the best in it's field? If not, are you a loser?

The lowering of the threshold is great news and more revenue for the Bears and Packers. Those are the only games going over the 90% threshold. It is also good news for local corporations who had to buy up large blocks of tickets to meet the old threshold to avoid blackouts.

That used car salesman is also hurting his profit margin to help more people see his product. If you want to whine about poor and greedy ownership, go on about the Pohlad's.

Hey mstthreek - the only reason Wilf saddled Minnesota with the bill is that he could. Minnesota has the reputation of being too "nice" to the level of naive. That used car salesmen fleeced you, and now you are making up excuses for him to cover up your embarrasment. Want to know how much the MA taxpayer put into Gillette stadium? Nothing. They made Bob Kraft pay for it out of his own pockets. And that franchise is 10x more successful than the Vikings. Only thing the Vikings are known for a boat cruises and getting skipped on draft picks.

OK the boat cruise was one example. But one of many. No one can argue the numbers...The Vikings have had more arrests in the past decade than any other team. And it actually started before that. Remember Keith Millard? This organization is known throughout the league as an asylum, yet they get "rewarded" with a shiny new stadium? I don't care that Ziggy threw in his own money. Why didn't you make him pay for it all is the question? Bob Kraft did. You reward people for success. Not for continually choking and bringing shame to your state.
