The best live performance I've seen to date is Bonnie Raitt performing at the State Fair in 1990. Her good friend, and legendary musician Stevie Ray Vaughn had tragically died the night before in a helicopter crash in Wisconsin. The mood was set with a distant lightning storm in the sky as a backdrop behind the stage as the sun was setting. Bonnie poured her heart out in a beautiful tribute. She is a fantasic musician and songwriter, not to be missed live.
