Lister, who spent more than two decades in the Air Force, resigned earlier this year as director of Anoka County's veterans services. I'm hearing lack of communication and leadership had absolutely nothing to do with Ms. Lister's resignation. I'd love for her to release the email she sent submitting her resignation to the public. C'mon Allison, you're all about open communication, let's see an example of that. "I knocked on doors and people listened to me," Lister said. Usually Ms. Lister, candidates talk to people and listen to their desires, not the other way around. This style of communication is part of the reason you had trouble with the County board. "I think county employees, the veterans who have been so supportive and the county's citizens in general, are looking for an advocate, an alternative. They chose me. I'm astonished, and proud." The veterans you contacted about your campaign wonder how you got their personal contact information that no one but the Anoka County Veteran's department had, or had access to. Enquiring minds want to know, Ms. Lister: Where did you get the contact information you used to contact Anoka County Veterans? There's another perfect opportunity for open communication here.
