Anytime you mix pigs, poultry with a high concentration of adult humans & children that are sweating, eating, sucking in dust & coughing there is a high risk of spreading disease. I catch some kind of cold almost everytime I go to church in the winter or go to the fair.

Wash your hands...then wash your hands...and finally wash your hands some more. Best way to avoid the flu.

Oh boy....alright, in that case, don't ever leave your house, don't get in a car, plane, train, don't ride a bike or take a walk, don't go to the mall or the grocery store, don't interact with people. Basically, stay in your house with the windows and doors sealed tight and wait for the end to come. Or as thorc1 said, wash your hands and do not put them where they should be.

Germs are a fact of life and it is a good idea to wash your hands especially with that foam/soap stuff you see in public restroom. I should wash my hands more often anyway. Nothing as fun as getting a huge handful of the foam before you wash it away!! Something about the foam. But there is a fine line between washing and being obsessive. Some people wash their hands until they bleed. We need germs in our lives even if they make us sick sometimes.
