When the Twins lost CCO they lost a lot. Sid, treated it as a funeral. Why can't they renew?

What could be worse than AM1500. Haven't heard a word that wasn't uttered through static since the Twins left WCCO, and I don't live far enough from the current studios that it should be as bad as it is.

I live within 9 miles of downtown Minneapolis and have to listen to the game on XM due to the weak signal, this move can't come fast enough.

About time! No more weak, static-overloaded signal.

lindy_frank123 - do you really need this spelled out? M-O-N-E-Y. The Twins want to make the money, WCCO wanted to make the money. Since the Twins had/have options... they are exercising them. FM is the only way to go.

FM won't help outstate. CCO was great. You could travel just about anywhere in the Upper Midwest and catch a game. Now you have to seek a different station every twenty five miles. These Pohlads are just not very smart. Short termthey will make a killing with their own station. Long term they will kill the Golden Goose.

Great! Fwallen, won't affect outstate; they have the network so most of the same stations will carry it regionally; no impact there. Best impact will be better coverage in the Twin Cities. Has anyone ever found an iPod with AM????? Great news.

Well, at least the Hubbards won't have baseball interfering with more Right Wing Talk stations.
