A Twins win at home against a decent team - didn't see that coming!

That was a fun game to watch. Wish there were more of them.

there have been some interesting bright spots this year. i'm glad morneau is back. however, pitching, pitching, pitching. lose blackburn! lose pavano! renegotiate with baker.

Love the way Mastroianni plays the game. Reminds me a lot of Dan Gladden. Hope Gardy finds a more regular place for him next year.

wahoo to deduno, mastroianni and twins' hitters for a good win, but it's hard to see the upside of gardenhire/anderson sending deduno--with 94 pitches--out to start the 8th and get hammered. their pitching decisions are bewildering....

People complain when Gardy keeps his pitchers at 100 pitch counts now they complain when they send Deduno back out for the 8 th with only 94 pitches! Gardy can't win

@razzler, REL but it's hard to see the upside of gardenhire/anderson sending dedunoout to start the 8th and get hammered...AND IF THEY HADN'T, the complaint would be the kid was pitching a two hitter and had only thrown 94 pitches, why pull him? Personally, anytime they can stretch their starting pitchers out without costing themselves a game, they should. Nobody's arm is going to fall off after 100 pitches.

Hard to believe the Blue Jays turned Mastroianni lose after only one appearance in the major leagues. The more I see him, the more I like him. He might not ever be a regular, but he's fast, hard nosed, works hard and as a result is FUN to watch.
