Minnesota won't chart the path for Congress any more than any other state holding a primary. More Minnesota-centric thinking.
In the western suburbs. Steve Smith should be supported on Tuesday. He is tight with taxpayers's dollars, but he thinks that working people have the right to bargain for job safety, health insurance, and fair pay. Smith's opponent Cindy Pugh is a knee-jerk extremist who spouts the tea party line when you pull her chain.
Bachmann win the primary? I have more faith in Republicans than this. She will be elected out in the primary. We are a nation of strength - McCarthism is our past sure - fear is not in our DNA.
Wasn't McCarthy later proven mostly correct? I'm not sure, just asking. Anyone know?
