Scott County to river agency: See ya later

Scott County is questioning the need for a Minnesota River agency that costs its taxpayers hundreds of thousands a year.

WOW! Way to go Scott County. Maybe other counties will take notice and do the same. Most government run departments are too top heavy with admin. My own observations: Having taught in the MN school system, I never did figure out why Superintendents, Presidents or whatever they called themselves were worth $100K - $200K per year. The only thing they seemed to do was have meetings and endless memos for more meetings. Time to clean out the deadwood state wide wherever it can be found. FYI: this has nothing to do with unions as administrative types are mostly non-union, no matter what job they have.
