Before Cole De Vries et al. could think about a Twins comeback, Tampa Bay's "ambush" widened an insurmountable lead.

I give credit for DE VRIES trying but he is a terrible pitcher.HE doesnt throw hard enough and when he faces a good team they kill him.

DeVreis shouldn't be allowed to wear a major league uniform. Only the Twins organization would let this happen.

Good to know my draft picks are still in the house.

I'll say one thing, down 7-1 the Twins were working the count. Jamey Carroll coaxed a couple of walks that were a thing of beauty. Despite DeVries pitching BP and Perdomo walking two and screwing up Manship's line, the Twins' batters saw more pitches than the Rays did. No one's going to be boasting about Joe Vavra, of course, but if this is any of his doing it's nice work. Molina doesn't shoot that one down the line, the Twins come up with two hits in the right spots and this is a close finish after spotting the Rays a half dozen runs.

Next year's rotation: Diamond, Gibson, To Be Determined, Free Agent Pitcher, Free Agent Pitcher. Or else its going to be a repeat of this year. And please, NO MORE MANSHIP!

Please FA don't try and give us DeVries and Deduno as long term answers. Too many Twins pitchers give up crooked numbers early in the game. BLACKBURN NEEDS TO GO TOO

At least Perdomo finally had a good outing.

Perdomo? Good outing. On paper. Stats. They tell nothing sometimes.
