I've more than had my fill of the kind of baloney put out by Mackay and his ilk. They make millions by knowing there is a sucker born every minute, and selling the illusion and snake oil that success is a commodity, that money equates to success, that anyone can succeed. Success is 99% dumb luck and Providence. Did any of you ask to be born into a wealthy country? Into wealthy families, with two healthy, loving parents? So you weren't born into wealth? Did you have a mentor, teachers, relatives/friends, who helped you? Were you given intellect, courage, perseverance by your creator? Success is a gift, not an achievement. No one knows why one guy is rich and famous, while a million other people who are just as smart and even smarter, who work work just as hard and even harder, are not. Mackay is a fast-talking, ultra-slick salesman. That's as deep as it goes.
