1984! Add this to the thousands of security cameras watching your moves around town and the cameras that are tied to face recognition. "Outside Independence Hall when the Constitutional Convention of 1787 ended, Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia asked Benjamin Franklin, "Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?" With no hesitation whatsoever, Franklin responded, "A republic, if you can keep it." " It is pretty hard to keep when you give it away! Will this quit quietly, or will it take ...

Oh great, now the wife can see how many times I was over at the girlfriends place! Have to get that James Bond license plate flipper and flip to the bogus plates every time I see a squad.

This is ridiculous, and anyone that isn't outraged is not paying attention. There is no accountability locally for this information? Really?

Here is to protect yourself. Run a dash-mount camera, and record EVERYTHING. Post it up online. If a cop stops you, let him know the conversation is being recorded. It's a two-way street. They're recording you, after all.
