The cartoon uses the word "silly" to describe Reid - he is way beyond silly and into malicious, unfit for leadership. There is no doubt that his comments were orchestrated from the white house, so that brings another leader into the same tent as Reid. Reid would not make such comments without direction and approval from the top.

Please explain to us why Romney refuses to reveal his tax information? Even important republicans have insisted that not doing so just leads to all kinds of conclusions from people. When you're running for President of the United States, you're looking to assume a job that has an immense impact on all of us and, as such, keeping secrets from us is simply not acceptable.

Is Romney's plan to release the tax returns the night before the election????

Just because someone is serving their last term in Congress should not be a license to libel another person, public or private. This applies to ALL, Repubs, Tea Partiers, Dems! PERIOD! It's time that our "journalists" return to doing the necessary verification of facts and calling someone out when they present a bold-faced lie, no matter who they are.

qbawb1. I largely agree but would you actually apply the standard to both sides, to Michele Bachmann, for instance, or Sarah Palin? You're certainly right, however, that journalism is not what it used to be in terms of fact-checking. Substantiation is not something politicians are overly concerned about anyway. Consider the "birther" idiocy.

Is Harry Reid wrong? Mitt Romney knows if he is wrong or not. Wouldn't Romney want to prove Reid wrong and shove it in his face and paint the Democrats as liars and a party that is so desperate they have to make things up to try and defeat him? Yes. So why doesn't Romney show that Reid is wrong? Romney's silence is his confirmation that Reid is right.

login, why are you not asking those same questions as to why our President refuses to reveal his college records? If it wasn't for the double standard, those on the Left wouldn't have any standards at all.

And Harry hasn't submitted a budget in over 3 years, and it's his senatorial MANDATE not an OPTION to submit one
