Heading out onto Sunfish Lake? Bring your permission slip

Anyone on Sunfish Lake must have permission to cross private property to reach the lake.

Really pathetic. This sort of "logic" was used earlier in American history, by wealthy oceanfront property owners who denied the public access to beaches because there was no way to get to them without crossing private property. Courts did not look kindly on this and public access was soon required. Small or not, Sunfish Lake belongs to everyone, and the notion that the "serfs" should be required to obtain written permission from their wealthy "lords" is not just insulting--it's positively medieval.
