Nishioka awful again in Twins loss

Tsuyoshi Nishioka was brutal, losing a ball in the sun, botching a double play and throwing wildly.

How can Gardenhire trot Nishioka out there after this? He's flat-out not a major league player. Even if he has the skills, he can't handle the mental side of it; he turns into a quivering bowl of jelly once he takes the field. Plus, 4 ab's today and 10 total pitches seen? So much for his refined approach to hitting. There is zero reason to play him anymore. Don't the Twins need to consider an outright release, given he is taking up a 40 man roster spot? I would rather see Ron Coomer at SS than Nishioka at this point. That's the 300 pound Coomer of today, not the playing shape Coomer of 1998.

IT is time for the twins to release NISHI when he lost the ball then just stood there was the final straw.DUENSING has to go back to the bullpen he is a left handed PAVANO he throws too slow and gives up way too many hits when he starts.CALL ESCOBAR up like i said before.

Yup. It's time. If Gardenhire and Ryan trot Nishioka out on the field even once more, they should both be fired. This is ridiculous.

Is Pohlad forcing Gardy to give Nishioka playing time? The guy is an absolute trainwreck.

Like I've asked before: Anyone get fired over the Nish?

it may be best to have Billy Smith escort Nishi back to Japan on a one way trip.

Nishioka has made it easy for the front office, which now doesn't have to cut him because he's cut himself.

I remember Reusse referring to Lou Ford as The Least Fundamentally Sound Player in Baseball. We have a new winner. Every play Nishioka was near was a disaster. The fly ball he lost was lame. Standing like a statue after it hits was inexcusable. Revere was closer to the ball at the end of the play than Nishioka. Hopefully they have direct flights to Japan from Cleveland. Cripes. Experiment over, Twins.
