"and will threaten to keep him out of the Pro Football Hall of Fame despite being one of the greatest receivers the game ever has seen." Let's see, he didn't sell drugs, be involved in a murder. All he did is criticize his own team and coaches because they didn't put in the total effort to win. He is the greatest receiver that ever played for an NFC Central or North team and may be the greatest receiver of all time in the entire NFL. He had two seasons with a sure fire Hall of Fame QB. Jerry RIce spent most of his career playing with two HOF qb's. Did I quit on Randy when he pulled his shenanigans with the caterer? Yes of course. BUt that still does not diminish all the other thrills that he gave me when he played for the Vikings. Sure fire 1st ballot HOF.

I wish athletes could be better representatives and public figures than Randy has been but I would still like to see him succeed again

Heck, he was one of the Vikings best receivers ever. He could play!! Like I said before, the Vikings still should have not traded him the first time. I wonder how good he would have been if he had stayed a Viking for his whole career.

I will be rooting for whatever team Randy Moss is on! And, Leber.... this team would be better w/ you gone also. Here's hoping Moss has a great season!

Brad Childress must assume part of the responsibility for Moss not succeeding here last time.

Two of the worst moves ever for an organization that has made many bad moves: 1. Hiring Brad Childress 2. NOT hiring Tony Dungy as head coach. With the exception of Bud Grant, the Vikings have consistently had bad coaches. Les Steckel anyone??

It did not take long for the Mossaholics to make an appearance. They just can't put any blame/responsibility on Randy. Sad.

The best thing about Randy's second time here was it resulted in Childress getting the axe. Moss has great ability but has never reached his potential. If he had Walter Payton's attitude and dedication he would probably be the best wide receiver ever.

Let's not forget he did something we've all wanted to do at some point - run down a meter maid.

MN_Fisher.... Moss would never have been better than Jerry Rice, that's just impossible no matter his work ethic but Moss is second best WR off all-time, and that's not bad!
