If the women win the Gold, the referee in this game should also be given the Gold.

When Canada kicked the ball out after the American player got hurt, it defined sportsmanship and what the Olympics are all about.

ActTwo: that is true. Terrific demonstration of good sportsmanship. Too bad it was outshown by the poor sportsmanship of the Canadian coach and Sinclair's postgame comments.

Canada can whinge all they want about the official. That same official allowed Melissa Tancredi of Canada to get away with murder without sending her off. She was whistled something like 8 times, many of which could have easily been deemed as cynical. Great job by both teams, especially the States.

Great game with a great finish! My wife and I have enjoyed watching soccer, especially women's, this Olympics as much or more than any of the other competitions. It is a great game to watch especially when one begins to understand and know the game a bit.

first of all it is soccer, which is boring enough to begin with, then you make it womens soccer which is even more irrelevant. Who cares?
