green mountain needs to successfully compete on prices. caribou merely has to make sure their product is appropriately priced to move product. at cub foods yesterday, it was $9.99 for 12 caribou k-cups and $5.99 for 12 cameron k-cups, so i went with the cheaper version of similar quality.

I used to go to Caribou five times a week until I got sick of their constant price increases. It now costs $2.21 to fill up my own small 14oz reusable mug. It's simply not worth it anymore. I know several other people who have said the same thing. I could do without the new logo and mac and cheese. Give me good coffee at a less insane price.

K-Cups are a horrible idea. Single serving products just create more trash. Are people too lazy to measure out their own coffee?

The pricing is ridiculous for K-cups. $9.99 for 12 servings? WOW!

Starbucks has entered the k-cup market, but their offerings are shockingly expensive. I normally buy the cheapest k-cups available - it's still much better than a cup of regular ground coffee. I don't see why I'd pay a dollar a cup like you have to pay for the starbucks ones.

klmoon, with some varieties you get 18 servings for $9.99. If you're a one cup a day person, it's great because you get much higher quality than the stale ground that is the alternative.

I had a keurig....and then the coffee became more costly...so i went back to my "old" coffee maker...and gave the keurig to a son!...I am 80 and very price conscious , he has more money and less time....

Caribou has shot themselves in the foot. Stupid new logo and remodeled stores. The new stores are not at all welcoming. I use to love to go to Caribou and chill, but now if I go, it's get my coffee and leave. They also changed the cup covers from Solo to International Paper and the new ones leak like made. I can't count the number of times I have burnt my hand because the new covers leak. An old favorite has just become and over re-worked also ran.

Get the metal filter basket for the Keurig, I have one, works great. I only use it because I only want one cup of coffee before work.
