Kobe Bryant needs more bench time. He has no concept of team play. He is like the proverbial black hole; the ball goes in and never comes out.

Why speculate about Russia and USA meeting in the 2012 Olympics for a gold medal game? Lithuania could defeat Russia in the quarterfinals, and (given a successful semifinal victory) play the United States! Instead of recalling the Soviet team's victory over the USA in Munich 1972, why not recall the Soviet victory back in Seoul 1988? That Soviet team featured 4 Lithuanians: Kurtinaitis, Marciulionis, Sabonis, and Chomicius. There was even 1 Latvian player, Igors Miglinieks. Lithuania facing the USA again after a close Group A game is a better story line.
