This sounds like a great club! There is one bike camp offered every summer through Wood Lake Nature Center, a division or the City of Richfield Recreation Dept. It is a week long camp, from 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. for children grades 3 - 6. It is a safety-oriented camp designed to improve riding skills and highlights bike-safe routes around the City of Richfield and Mpls. The students ride about 60 miles during the week with destinations including Lake Harriet, Lake Nokomis and Minnehaha Falls. Cost is $85 - $95 and has a limit of 12 students. Registration is online at woodlakenaturecenter.org in March for Spring/Summer programs or call the center at 612-861-9365.
