Don't kid yourself Sidney..Rogers-Cutler-Stafford just to name a few are going tear this group of LB's to shreds.. Maybe one of the weakest group's of LB's the Vikes have ever had..As for Greenway..IMO one of the most over rated Vikings in recent past. Average at best.

Your close lynxstar but Jared Allen is by far the most overrated viking. His meaningless 22 sacks last season had no bearing on any game last year enroute to their 3-13 finish. I fact, Allen's sack total was so meaningless the vikings finished 0-6 within the NFC North Division. Given this year's roster move or lack there of in regards to any quality or proven players the viking's defense will be even worse this season.

Jared Allen couldn't make up for a horrendous secondary. Without him the passing stats would have been worse.

Not sure what the boss man means by "Greenway still a steady force"?? Really?? I can't remember the last time Greenway actually made a big play or had a Meaningfull Sack or Meaningful interception. The Vikes have always had Big play Linebacker's in the past. Not anymore..He doesn't even rank in the top 25 Linebackers in Team history IMHO..Without question he's one of the most overrated players in The NFL. Stick to writing about The Tmutts Sid, that's about the only sport you know anything about.

Greenway did commit pass interference in overtime against the Saints. That was a big play that helped the final scoring drive.

The Vikings get nickel and dimed, up and down the field every single game...that is on the Linebackers! The secondary is hot puke but they are not nearly as bad as the Linebackers who let 5 yard dump passes turn into 20 yarders on a regular basis, plus they disappear on 3rd down all the time!

A decision to pick up the 9.25 mill option to sign Scott "Home run Maker" Baker? He can leave and take Blackburn with him.

Weakest part of the Viking team, Linebackers and Wide receivers. Brinkley cannot cover a TE, even if he stays healthy, which is highly unlikely. Henderson is not much better.

Why do we give Pohlad the comfort of limiting payroll to $100 million? When I pay $60 for a ticket, $8 for a diet coke, etc. I am doing my share to produce a winner...not guarantee Pohlad big profits. If there are no changes in the Twins cheap payroll policy, I am one ticket holder that will no longer be gouged by Pohlad.

As said earlier, the $100M payroll is something the Pohlads have come up with. Jim's going to find that the newness of his money printing field is wearing off & he needs to put a competitive team on the field. By competitive I mean all of baseball, not limited to the wimpy Central Division. just my two cents worth.
