One of the reasons that people do not subscribe to this newspaper is that people have finally caught on: your news reporting is biased in favor of liberal ideology. For example, why did you not put any articles about Chick Fil A on your homepage online? It was a freedom if speech issue, but because it made the liberals look bad, the mainstream news media blocked it out. This is just one of the latest obvious examples. Also on the homepage today, there was a featured article headline stating that jobs increased in July, when in acuality, the unemployment jumped from 8.2% to 8.3%. We're not stupid out here, and often get our news from many sources. Your bias is often showing. Why would I support a papter like that with my hard earned dollars? If you want to get out of debt, be more balanced in your news reporting.

The StarTribune printed stories calling the Linden Avenue Viking stadium site "the Basilica site" even though the Linden Avenue site is fully on the other side of Highway 394 to help assure the existing site near StarTribune owned land would be chosen over the Linden Avenue site for the new stadium. This is a key element in the purchase of a larger share of the StarTribune by the purchaser who will now control the development of this land.

in fact, the old-time "Red Star Trombone" disappeared between 5 to 7 years ago, depending on how you score certain writers. the Editorial Page definitely tilted RINO-right seven years ago, and the columnist slant about the same time. I miss the good old days.

The Chik-Fil-A story made liberals look bad? I was under the impression that it was conservatives who run this bastion of homophobia and intolerance.

This newspaper is continuing to go down hill and eventually all papers will only be digital. They continue to run good employees out the door and eventually will succeed in the company being all non union employees. They need to get old writers out, Sid, Pat, and get new writers in.
