Go Lindsay! She may not be THE greatest player on the team but good things happen when she is on the floor.

No, perhaps not the greatest, but close to the most reliable. I love the showcase of Minnesota basketball in this Olympics!

It is nice to see a coach that doesn't "pour it on" early in the game and then put in the reserves. It is great to see a home town hero with such grit and integrity and it's great to see her playing out her career in her "home" town

Way to go Lindsay!

ARRey sez: They better not win by too large a margin or thier sport may be eliminated like softball was.

It's terrific to see women's basketball and the Lynx players get some big media attention. That doesn't happen for them very often, even at home. Got a large charge out of watching LeBron James' reaction when Lindsay raced out of bounds and backwards-batted it back into play. She never gives up. So glad she's back home.

Just hope these Lynx players don't wear themselves out before coming back home to play again. Lindsay is a game-changer, for sure!

Why are they the 2nd unit? Oh yeah...look who is coaching.

ordyjoe11Aug. 2, 12 8:50 AM

Glad she's a Lynx!

SpaceJunkieAug. 2, 12 9:10 AM

@dirtydogs They're the 2nd unit because the starters are the players who are or have been most widely considered the best at their position the past several years -- even if the gap is really small, as lot of people have seen how Whalen is just as good as Bird, and McCoughtry has been lighting it up (in which case they should get more minutes, not necessarily start).
