good article-- i hope this guy makes it into the nfl. he of all deserves it. learning by only reading lips his whole life and it was never a barrier to his success... thats absolutely inspirational.

I'd keep him on the team to go and talk to any teammate who pouts and feels sorry for himself. Could have used this young man when Moss was here. Heck, he can inspire all of us who are prone to pouting from time to times. Put him on special teams in place of one of the DUI guys.

Great inspiration. My 9 year old son was diagnosed with a hearing loss at birth and has been aided since he was 2 months old. He is very capable and if not for the visible hearing aids you would not know he was profoundly hard of hearing. We have always wondered how it was going to work in sports as he gets older, so far it has not been a problem and this gives us even more hope. Thanks for the great story.
