Maybe Spielman's plan of bringing in guys that were hurt for a majority of last season wasn't exactly the smartest move.

1. Can we forget what guys look like "on paper" and instead find actual players. 2. So Erin Henderson thinks yielding a 13 yard run isn't so bad? Yep, this is gonna be one great defense!!

Looks like the good news is the new necessary GM position can be filled. Bad news, we might be stuck with the experiment a while. 25 million $$ deal for a knocked up Vet. I thought we drafted two stud TE(s)?? And who really cares about a linebacker who was almost benched in 2011, but thinks he is on his way to the big pay day??? Maybe if Spielman is the buyer.......Geez!

AS IF anyone should of been fired up for the scrub WR's from Arkansas we drafted, with this news at training camp, you definately won't be fired up now! Good grief we need help at WR.

Got to have depth at all positions because injuries are part of the game. Every team deals with it. Luck is so much a factor and learning how to stay healthy is also a big plus, I guess we will see what happens here by picking players who have had injury set backs, risky but it can pay off.

On the second page of the story, another ad that covers the text of the story while, presumably, the corner where the 'x' is is covered by a photo - making the ad impossible to get rid of. I know you need revenue, strib, but please figure this problem out as it happens semi-regularly. This will be the last story I read today.

This franchise will continue to suffer setback after setback with Spielman making bargain basement moves with an endless cast of undrafted rookie free agents and cast-off bums that have been cut by other teams!!! Just wait, days before the season begins Spielman and Company will be busy scanning the free agent wire looking for cut players from other teams so they can insert them into the final line-up as starters a day or two before the season opener. The viking's outright desperation to fill numerous holes in what will certainly be one of the worst defenses in the NFL (again) this season is beyond laughable.

What is beyond laughable, is the Packers have arguably the most valuable player in the NFL, Aaron Rogers, tied up in a contract that is paying him 7 million a year. Packers, Jermichael Finley one of the best TE in the league, making 600K a year. Spielman pays a often injured TE, that has not had any production in the last two years, five million a year.

Childs = Troy Williamson 2.0?

Childs=Troy Williamson 2.0? No Chance! Willianson had speed & wasn't injured 24/7. Williamson had a pathetic career for a TOP10 draft pick, but it should be better than Geoe Childs. or Greg...what ever his name is.
