No shakeup on this team, just MUCH more of the same for the rest of the year.....time to start rooting for the Yankees, at least they care about winning,,,,,

That's two games in a row where Mauer has been a rally killer, weak ground outs is all you get for a $23 million player. It would also be nice if the Twins had bench players capable of putting one out of the park. All they really have is some guys who can pinch run...

the white sox have too many players who can hit the ball; the twins have too many who can't....and am i right that revere now leads the team in batting average? how interesting is that....wahoo!

Was the Dozier pickoff bang bang or bad base running, couldn't tell by Gladden's reaction ?

Frustrating. Both Joe and A.J. have been in the top 10 in batting with runners in scoring position. Yesterday, in the 9th, AJ hits a 2-run homer to win the game. Today, in the 8th, Joe comes up with 2 on, and pops out to short. Beyond pitching, the biggest difference in these 2 teams is clutch hitting--Rios, Konerko, Ramirez and Viciedo are all in the top 20, along with AJ, in hitting with runners in scoring position. The Twins have no one else in top 20 besides Joe. Teams know they can throw slop to Joe and not really be hurt by other batters.

You can count on Gordy and his team to do the same day after day after day.....

Again and again and again......Our $23MM savior up to bat with runners on and the game on the line. I'd take rattled brains guy, Morneau, before I'd put my faith in Mauer to come through with a clutch hit.
