Record 19th medal makes Olympic history even as he looked more human than ever in the pool.

Good for him. He doesn't bad-mouth his teammates like some others have done. He is classy!

WOW!Lochte pulling and Phelps pushing. That's some train. Some countries don't win that many combined in two olympics. Mama's gonna keep pestering him to go to Brazil now!

I hope we can put the pot issue behind us. I think he learned from that mistake. Congrats to Michael.

SWIMMER ! Most decorated Olympian Swimmer. It is not fair to other Olympians who, for instance play Badminton and who don't have all sorts of badminton Olympic competitions, as swimmers have gold medals for swim like a frog, swim like a dog, swim facing up, etc.... It's not fair to Olympians who don't have that many variations to their sport, as swimmers do. The guy who throws that 16 lb. Shot Put - what other events/sports can he/she qualify for? Hardly, maybe weight lifting. Therefore calling Phelps the 'most decorated olympian ever' could be said as the 'olympian most fortunate to have so many similar events to compete in'. Something like that.
