Nice spoiler. Now I don't know what I will do with my evening.

Well, at least she tried to keep secret exactly which team it was. No mention whatsoever...I guess if you assume the picture goes with the story, then you can come to the conclusion. But the writer never does say. Journalism 101 - who, what, where, why, when. One or more of those is missing from the story.

Oh yeah, that's a newspaper's job....to not report current news until everyone has seen it on TV. Don't look here if you don't want to know current results. Some people do.

rednus: You can't avoid it when you're looking for local stories and it's plastered on the front headlines or ramps up to one of the top stories of the day. The headline should say: "Spoiler: US Women's Olympic Results".

I guess I'll be the first to say this. Congratulations, ladies. All your years of hard work have paid off.

I have my battles with the Strib regarding censorship of posts, but in this case do you really expect them to wait for TV? Just don't read the online paper if you don't want to know, but then it's already been on the radio. Anyway congratulations ladies. I'll watch anyway and be proud.

If NBC is blacking out coverage until primetime, please stop posting results to the front page until then. Thanks. Maybe an Olympic section to your sports page?

Let's quit whining about already knowing the outcome and just appreciate what amazing athletes these gymnasts are, and how hard they've worked to be Olympic champions.
