Found no obvious waste. Fine. But that doesn't mean it isn't waste. Whoever is doing the looking, isn't taking a very hard look at how much that place spends and where the money goes. They need an outsider to do these reviews. Someone with a critical eye toward what the real function of a university is and how far off base they've gone.

This is ridiculous. "Centers" are self-organized cooperative research activities, not parasitic sponges. They're often self-supporting or even revenue positive - the U is the parasite here.... *cough* "administrative fees".
