When watching the Ponder interview on the Rosen show on Sunday, they showed about a dozen passes from Ponder to various targets on the practice field... I don't recall seeing one throw that was on the numbers... all of the receivers had to reach over their head, or adjust, to pull in the pass. When passes aren't on the money, it just opens up opportunity for the defender. Work on that, Christian! GO VIKINGS!!!

Musgrave wants the offense to do the ordinary better than everyone else, while everyone else is busy trying to make the extraordinary seem ordinary.

Ponder had hic college career, training camp, 3/4 of a NFL season and an entire off season and he's still missing common throws? Lets just say I'm a little worried about this kid.

If this guy is a turnover machine like last year, don't hesitate to bring in the backup. Better yet, here's a thought. Have an open, fair competition for the starting spot and let the best man win. If he's not ready for the big time, let him sit and watch. Not everyone can come out of college and be an immediate NFL starter. Like Tarvaris Jackson before him, Frazier will sink or swim with this guy, even if it costs the team victories, as evidenced by Ponders horrendous record last year.

Let's face facts...Ponder is the only guy that has a chance of being a franchise QB. I love Joe Webb and his athletic abilities and I wish he was on the field a whole lot more (we'd need an OC that actually had an imagination for that though). However, Webb is a runner who can be a threat to pass. That's the opposite of franchise QB material. It's Christian Ponder or we start over again next year in the draft or free agency.

What are the odds, Ponder stays healthy the whole season? Slim........

I was riding my bike near the vikes EP site about 1 month ago. I was passed by a black Bentley with ponder in the pass seat. I swear it was him. Car even had vanity plates. As you would expect. Wonder if it was his agent?

Maybe Ponder is feeling the heat from Joe "just the facts ma'am" Webb. Seriously, I think it is a mistake to just hand the starting job to Ponder. I know the guy was a high draft pick (and a huge reach by Spielman), but the best QB needs to be behind center opening day. If Ponder is that guy, great. But if Webb outplays him in training camp and preseason (like he did at the end of last season), then the team needs to swallow it's pride and start Webb.

We all know Joe Webb is the best QB on the team..Has all the raw talent if developed to be a pro bowl caliber player. We'll have to suffer through miserable losses and packer tauntings the whole season because of arrogance and ignorance of our coaching staff! We all know why Percy was acting up!
