He won't reveal the out-of-state buyer's identity yet but said the new owner will keep the Wolves and Lynx here.

Sid I get it that you have to schmooze all the heavy hitters in the sports world. but you need to know the rest of the world really dislikes bud selig. The guy looks like a used car salesman, "hi ya, kid wanna buy a real nice Chevy? I got one over here for ya." smarmy and untrustworthy. I wish the owners would dump this guy and get someone else. Peter ubberoth was pretty good, get a guy like that to run the league.

I just can't understand why fans don't get excited about him! (sarc) I think Lew, Nick and Denny all had better stats than that and were good in the clubhouse.

Hopefully Sid will be the new Wolves owner so we can re-live the glory years of the 1030s and 40s when the Lakers were relevent!!!

Seems kind of juvenile, referring to a new player as "bad knees." Hope you don't start calling the college football team the Minnesota "will never get out of the bottom 1/3 of the Big Ten" Golden Gophers. Still a fan, Sid!

Hopefully the new owner will spend some money unlike Taylor. For years the Wolves have been trading picks for cash and now since Kahn has drafted so bad they have jettisioned top 5 picks Flynn and Johnson for nothing! How are they going to be a contender with this type of management? We could've drafted Curry and Cousins!

Technically, Zygy Wilf is an out-of-town owner of the Vikings. Is he expanding to the NBA? He has expressed interest in MLS, after all. You heard it hear first (maybe).
