Maybe I'm drinking the Kool Ade, but what's not to like.

If they can finish at .500 in Big Ten play, that would be a great accomplishment, something that has not happened all that much since Warmath was the coach in the early 60's. Baby steps is all that we long suffering fans are asking for for the lads. Anything more than that will be an unexpected bonus.

COMPETE against iowa and wisky and ANYTHING and EVERYTHING may be possible every once in a while. Compete with and sometimes BEAT the border battle games. And schedule and WIN ooc games that can set up bowl game invitations. Coach Kill knows that. Coach Kill will DO that. The ooc games are needed to pad revenue, provide wins and set the program UP to face an INTERESTING team in a neutral location in December or Janurary. Coach Kill UNDERSTANDS this concept and WILL set the schedule up in this way as he BUILDS this program from the disaster the previous administration directed this Big Ten Football Program. Coach Kill WILL work to achieve the Mason levels of success and then hopefully will be able to advance beyond the Mason levels...with the help of the new on campus STADIUM that Coach Mason helped this program achieve! Good luck Coach Kill. This long-time Gopher Season Ticket Holder is cheering hard for you to succeed. Our new Norville and prexy k need to BACK BIG TEN FOOTBALL at the U of M! ; 0 )

I hope that coach Kill can turn the program around. I know that it takes time to do so, but I am very antsy to see it happen soon.

Anyone who read the interview with Coach Kill in the sunday Strib can see where this man knows what he is doing and can talk in terms that people can relate to. As bad as Brewster was, Kill is the exact opposite as good.

Gophers Football-50 years of "HOPE". New Coaches, New Outdoor Stadium, new AD's, but over the years nothing ever changes about this program. The "HOPE" of winning is the headline each offseason while Gopher fans try and come up with reasons why this year will be different. Next year will be different....next year. The word always go back to "HOPE".

Isn't Kill's health a big concern again coming into this year? Has anyone even asked, if Jerry had any more seizers’ or was hospitalized in the offseason? OR would the UofM even publically report further health issues of Kill. He was in the Hospital twice last year. That should be a huge concern! I hope he does stay healthy but you have to ask--Is he any better this year?

Kill beat Iowa and Illinois in his first year. He gave USC a real battle as well as others. I really like this program.
