Awesome! Can't wait to see this chemistry take the next step at Target Center this season.

Time will tell if this type of result will translate to the NBA. I am looking forward to see them try...

Alexey was great today. His deft passing was incredible. He had 13 assists, and could have had 18 if his teammates hadn't missed on some of his passes. He nearly had a triple double without breaking a sweat. He and Rubio are going to be awesome together. Can't wait.

I watched the whole game and wow was it fun to be a Timberwolves fan. Kirilenko was everywhere. Shved looked a lot like Rubio with a good shot. He also had great ball handling. Kahn looks like a genius this morning. I realize its only one game but I was very impressed.

Agreed. Shved looked great, and AK was a man among boys out there. Granted GB isn't the strongest team, but AK's athleticism, shot blocking, and overall strengths were really apparent. Can't wait to see both of these guys in T-Wolves uniforms.

I have been putting Kahn down for his off-season moves, but watching Shved and Kirilenko, I have to admit those two look impressive. Granted it is hard to judge because Great Britain's team was featuring players from Duquense and College of Charleston. I don't think they could win the Big Ten with that squad, but they did what they should have done with that caliber of opponent - toyed with them. AK-47 was great. He looks healthy and very able. My concern is Shved's defense. He was getting used by Deng, the type of player he will have to guard night in and night out. He needs to take some Cytogainer over the next couple of months and put on 15 pounds. Offensively, he may arguably be the better all around guard than Rubio. We'll see in the upcoming games.

Jwillis, I agree that Shved defense could be a bit of a concern for pick and rolls. He did get some steals and a block or two. I actually think he will be a good compliment to Rubio - hard to imagine Shved being as good a passer but his shot making and shot creating would be a great compliment to Rubio's game.

I really hope that these two players will make a difference on the Wolves team. Wouldn't that be something? I am keeping my fingers crossed.

All that talent and the goal is "make the playoffs"? Wow, way to set that bar high!
