IS IT TRUE THAT PAWLENTY CHOSE NOT TO SPEND FOR NECESSARY REPAIRS THAT WERE NAMED IN AN ENGINEERING STUDY OF THE BRIDGE SAFETY MADE BEFORE THE COLLAPSE. I BELIEVE ELECTED OFFICIALS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS PROTECTED FROM DAMAGES AND MINISTERIAL EMPLOYEES OF GOVERNMENT UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES ARE NOT PROTECTED FROM LIABILITY. THIS IS AN IMPORTANT ISSUE IN THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION IF PAWLENTY BECOMES THE REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE FOR VICE PRESIDENT. ANYONE WISH TO COMMENT?
