The Wolves purged a lot of deadwood this offseason, and the potential of additions like AK and Roy, along with DWill getting a full off-season to take the next step, the Wolves should be one of the more compelling teams in the league.

Will be watching the Olympic basketball tourney with even more interest. And with fingers crossed -- no more injuries to Wolves players!

People love to rip Kahn for taking Wesley Johnson but nobody ever mentions who they should have taken instead. You know why? Because there was no one else to take at #4 in that draft! 90% of the teams would have taken Johnson if they had the #4 pick. Its totally unfair to Kahn. Johnson should have gone #4, he just didnt work out like so many other high draft picks in the NBA.

The signing of AK 47 was a good one. The trading of Wesley Johnson was not. If you need salary cap space to sign Kirilenko, don't sign Shved. This guy is a project at best. Johnson's had a really good summer league. Why not take the year and see if that was an aberration? His trade value can't go any lower anyway.

Overpaid for Kirilenko. They aren't a playoff caliber team anyway. They should have saved their money and waited for next year when a better crop of free agents will be available. Williams was just another lousy draft pick by the Woofies. Another in a long series of busts. This is by far the most inept franchise in major league sports.

Unbelievable! This guy sends two high first round draft choices (Johnson & a future lottery pick) and gets an old timer who will play no more than 2 years.

The player option on year two makes this a Kahnnnnnnn! Move. I like ak47 for two years straight...wolves gave up the pick from Memphis for one year guaranteed.

In all seriousness, this team with Rubio out half a season is .500 at best, and won't make the playoffs.

I agree....I like AK but we did overpay. Plus we need that money in year two to sign Pek. Another "significant" move is possible? I cringe at the thought of Kahn giving away more draft picks and players for nothing!
