Way to go NBC with refusing to show the opening ceremonies live AND forcing foreign networks to block US addresses from streaming the event live.

mikejohnson4: Much as I dislike NBC's Olympics coverage (ABC's was much better), the BBC NEVER allows people outside the UK to stream its TV channels. You can stream BBC radio, but not BBC TV.

what the US should do is force other countries hosting the Olympics to hold the marquis events like the opening ceremonies in the middle of the night there so we can see them live here. What good is it to be the most powerful country in the world if we cant bend people to our benefit?
