Rest in Peace, Sally Ride! You were an inspiration to so many of us!
Rest in Peace, Sally Ride, you were a true hero!
What a trailblazer and what a loss!
We lost a true American hero today. Rest in peace.
Truly a sad day. Sally, you will be missed.
Was shocked when I heard this. It seems like only yesterday when she made that historic flight. A sad day for NASA and can't remember her without thinking of that song: One of these early mornins, Gonna be wipin' yo weepin' eyes. The people who admired her are doing just that. R.I.P. Capt. Sally K. Ride, Phd. United States Air Force.
Job well done Sally. May you rest in peace. You will be missed.
"Space used to be a man's world." -- Not for the Soviets, it wasn't. They put a woman in space twenty years before America did. Rest in peace, Sally Ride, but it would have been nice for women's time in space to come sooner.
Ride, Sally Ride! RIP
i wonder if zero gravity had anything to do with physical condition? is there any data on long term health of all shuttle astronauts?
