Sid, Mike Lynn did a number of good things for the ownership but little for us fans. Lynn's main motovation was to turn a profit, other than that he, like all the others at Winter Park past and present, couldn't deliver a World Championship. Those that put the dollar before the players and fans will never win and that is what Winter Park has yet to figure out.

That extra $25,000 for Joe making the all-star team explains his 1st half exceptional play. Wasn't enough incentive to make him a starter.

When the biggest decision of your career is trading away half of a football team for one player, and that player doesn't ever come close to meeting expectations...well, don't be surprised when that's all people remember about you.

Mike Lynn was all about Mike Lynn and his friends.. not the Vikings or the fans.. He made himself very wealth running the Vikings into the ground

Mike Lynn was not an asset to the Vikings. Mike Lynn cared first and foremost about lining his own pockets, which he did quite well. Then to save a few bucks, he decides to trade away three first and second round draft picks for a player who could have been had for just a first and second. Lynn was trying to save money by not having to pay what he thought were huge rookie contracts, and in one feel swoop, he did that while gutting the Vikings future chances at success. He's leaving the Vikings for good was the best thing that happened to this team.

The Mike Lynn regime is much like the current 51% Wilf ownership when it comes to fleecing every nickel they can from the local fans who continue to suffer with no World Championship to speak of. Despite what New Jersey Wilf's say they will not change, ALL thay care about is making as much profit as possible so they can take it ALL back to New Jersey with them on their private jet they love to come to town in. Until someone or some group that knows something about professional football (someone who is more than just a fan) buys out these clowns the fans will continue to suffer!!!

Mike Lynn was a southern bumpkin who knew nothing about big time winning football programs. He was given too much too soon and Max Winter regretted it the rest of his life. Lynn was a master manipulator of all things for his own selfishness. I'm glad he left Minnesota, he ran the team into the ground. Why not stay down in TN or MS and help these areas get teams?

Echoing the rest of the comments here, Mike Lynn was the epitomy of what is wrong with this world, unmitigated greed.
