Of course Kline hasn't expressed an opinion on Bachmann's comments. His handlers haven't told him what his opinion is, yet.

The Minnesota Republicans are being disturbingly quiet about this, while the Republicans in other states, along with conservative bloggers, are telling Bachmann to apologize. Gotta wonder why the MN GOP is letter her do what she's done.

"He doesn't comment on other people's comments," said campaign spokesman Troy Young. Well, I'd beg to differ, he seems to comment on the POTUS's comments all the time. Kline needs to be replaced.

Contrary to popular belief, Political Correctness is not the most important thing in the world. If what she said is bothersome to you, ignore it. Why does this paper do everything in its power to hurt Michelle Bachmann, yet ignore so many dumb liberal comments.

"Why does this paper do everything in its power to hurt Michelle Bachmann,"-----The paper just feeds her ego, the damaging stuff she does to herself.

Bachmann's false and malicious attacks should be as repugnant to politicians like Kline as they are to those Republicans with the courage and character to challenge Bachmann's conduct. That Kline would explain his refusal to challenge Bachmann's claims with an untruthful statement is says as much about his character as it does his courage.

Maybe he won't condemn her comments because he agrees with them? He should answer that question.

Mr Kline - So you don't comment on other people's comments you say? Oh Please! You don't comment on what the Prez says, for instance? What a rediculous statement. Time to show some leadership, sir. Mr Cravaack - ditto to you, sir. What are you guys so afraid of? The T-party? Limbaugh? Norquist? Show some guts boys.

@bill9844 asked "Why does this paper do everything in its power to hurt Michelle Bachmann, yet ignore so many dumb liberal comments."

Perhaps you could show us some liberal comments as extreme as what Bachmann has uttered? Did a liberal say that Obama's trip to the middle east cost $200 million a day? Or that that God was trying to get the attention of politicians? Who said that the HPV shots cause mental retardation in girls?

My favorite is "But we also know that the very founders that wrote those documents worked tirelessly until slavery was no more in the United States. ... I think it is high time that we recognize the contribution of our forbearers who worked tirelessly -- men like John Quincy Adams, who would not rest until slavery was extinguished in the country."

Find me liberals who said anything equivalent to the stuff coming out of Bachmann's mouth and you might get some credibility. If you could find a liberal who said anything like "If we took away the minimum wage -- if conceivably it was gone -- we could potentially virtually wipe out unemployment completely because we would be able to offer jobs at whatever level." then you'd be a genius.
