Americans grieve yet another national tragedy, repeating a known ritual.

Our hearts grieve for the people of Aurora, but one can't help but wonder if there would have been fewer broken hearts today, if we banned assault weapons and made it more difficult for people set on carnage to get what they want. Assault weapons aren't for hunting anything but people.
