Bachmann has been linked to HSBC, a bank who has laundered money for al-qaeda.

McVey at Oklahoma City, shooting at Columbine, at Virginia Tech, Aurora and other areas which I cannot recall now. None by a Muslim so why is Bachmann so obsessed with Muslims?

Bachmann has gone to far this time. Her baseless accusations about members of the US government are lies as stated by the FBI. It is high time that someone files a defamation suit against her. Ellison and Abedine need to hire an attorney to see if any of Bachmann's statements are in any way unlawful. In the USA we have the right to freedom of speech but not assassination of ones character. Bachmann should be expelled as from congress immediately.

Why is it that Star Tribune won't publish the specifics behind her allegations? Bachmann has details for the basis of her claims, yet for some strange reason we are prevented from reading them.

I am no expert, can Shelly be impeached? To the people of her district, vote for somebody else. She is an embarassment to the state of Minnesota.

The Chairman of the Intelligence Committee, a Republican, comes right flat out and says wherever Rep. Bachmann is getting this stuff, it isn't from the Intelligence Committee.

So she's making it up. Like usual. Like she has since the very beginning of her career.

I don't understand why she's been allowed to get away with it for so long. Maybe someone in the Obama campaign will give Romney the option of either denouncing her, or having her tied to him in every Obama campaign ad.

The Republican Party has let this kind of person into their party, locally and nationally. In Minnesota they brought in the likes of Brodkorb, Sutton, Franson, Hoffman, and the rest of the circus. Nationally, they've made deals with the likes of Bachmann, all the anti-Muslim bigots, the people who send all the "funny" e-mail pictures of Michelle Obama with a bone through her nose, and the rest.

When you abandon your better principles in order to win now, you pay a heavy price. And the longer you wait to clean house, the heavier a price you, and everyone else, has to pay. The Republicans had better get started. Rep. Bachmann is as good a place to start as any.

Considering how she is obviously getting deeper and deeper into paranoid fantasies, possibly she's suffering from some sort of mental illness. Hopefully she will avail herself of her government health care as soon as possible.

as a close acquaintance of mine from St. CLoud - who, btw, is a strident republican and is perhaps "a person of consequence" in the 6th district said to me today: "she really stepped in it this time. i may even vote for Graves this time around."
