Wow that's actually embarrassing for the Strib. Real classy.
Sack, time for another shot at the DFL. Plenty of material to work with.
Oh come on. Does ANYONE really believe McCarthy ended up up there?
@falcon1679 - I was going to say the same thing about Wisconsin's finest. You beat me to it.
Steve you are better than ever. If not a God fearing person before 09; you must offer God thanks every day for the TEA Party. lol. Keep up the rapier sharp wit.
What is being totally missed by the media here is that Michelle Bachmann is trying to change the discourse of the nation around the presidency. Instead of focusing on Bain Capital and Romney's Income Taxes, she wants to deflect those crticisms by making outlandish comments that get her attention. By doing so, the media "forgets" about what it was talking about a few days ago and by then it's too late. You'll recall that it wasn't more than a few days ago that John Sununu said Obama should "learn to be an American". It's these kinds of media frenzied attacks which get press' attention and take the heat off of Romney.
Are mainstream Republicans really in support of Bachmann on this one? Really?
It's an election year, so Michelle is dialing up the crazy again. Now she's pointing fingers at Keith Ellison for being in the Muslim Brotherhood. When are people going to wake up and see that today she's going after the easy targets, tomorrow she may see something wrong with you. Is this the kind of thinking that was written into our Constitution, that people are guilty until proven innocent? No excuse for this behavior.
A really great cartoon hits you viscerally, makes you laugh out loud, or causes your jaw to drop because of the impact of the truth inherent in it.
Sack cartoons do that, they are on target, and this one is no exception, possibly one of his best.
Bachmann IS an embarrassment to all of us, even dead ol' Joe McCarthy. Although......I'm a little skeptical that McCarthy is in heaven; more likely he's roasting in hell for what he did in his life. (While Bachmann tries for a living hell for people.)
One of the causes for the American Revolution was the English use of guilt by association. The founders outlawed the practice. MB is un-American.
